Avocado Smoothie

We've found all sorts of cute restaurants and coffee shops here - this is Buddy drinking an avocado smoothie. Note to Jane: I tried it and it wasn't completely disgusting, only mostly disgusting. 

We made it!

After 30 hours of travel, Buddy and I have checked into our hotel in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly called Saigon, although it seems like the city is still often referred to as Saigon.  For example, our hotel is called "Beautiful Saigon 3 Hotel.").  There was a welcome basket in our room of some very strange fruits.  It's cute, but came with lots of little bugs, so we won't be trying any of it.

It's 2:42AM here and my body has no idea what to do right now.  I'm both tired and wide awake.  I think a shower and and attempt at sleep is up next!
